What DO you wear?

Marilyn’s first night out in her wedding dress was a bittersweet event. The wedding was beautiful, the groom handsome, the parents proud, but the date was terrible. Just 4 days after the tragedy of 9/11 Marilyn was set to say her vows and start her romantic journey. Despite the sadness in the air, guest rejoiced in a family celebration. Maybe even more so against such a backdrop of heartache. As we come to another anniversary of 9/11 we also come to another anniversary for Marilyn and Frazier. This year though, their anniversary date is also the date of the Lime Kiln Theater show for Chaise Lounge. SO the real question is this?

What DO you wear to a show on your wedding anniversary?

Whatever Marilyn decides, the most important thing is that you come to enjoy the show and help Marilyn celebrate as well:

What I did on My summer Vacation Series: Mz. Marilyn

My Summer began with a cold and windy weekend at Dewey Beach. There was no tanning or body surfing but I cleaned up at the arcade and have the stuffed lemurs to prove it. In an effort to reclaim my glory days, I started a Mother/Daughter basketball league with my 9 year old, Savannah. (We are currently looking into the legality of naming our team the Pittsburgh Stealers). Charlie and I have been in the studio working on our first Fablers album and putting down a few Chaise Lounge tunes as well. But the highlight of this sticky, hot season is that my mother is getting married!  The matching apparel is almost complete and we are heading to CA to share the big day.  I have even dusted off my guitar so sister Sue and I can share one of our favorite Charlie Barnett songs with the happy couple.

See you all at the next show!
